Every wire, connector and accessory installed on a commercial aircraft must be traceable to an approved manufacturer, supported by a certificate of conformance, and qualified to the applicable airworthiness standard. DO-160 environmental testing, FAA TSO approvals and EASA Part 21 Form One documentation are the minimum requirements for entry into civil aviation supply chains.
